Whodat Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 Just wondered if any shad was comming threw the dam yet? Wife is off until the 4th so a good time for me to get out.
denjac Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 I saw lots of threadfin shad flipping on the surface last week on Table Rock. Lots of them swimming on there sides, so my guess is it wont be long. Dennis Boothe Joplin Mo. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 26, 2010 Root Admin Posted January 26, 2010 No. Jeremy Hunt said he's been trying white below the dam and not doing any good which means they're not seeing any shad.

Gatorjet Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Just got back to Fenton,3:00 PM Wed. Have been at Tany since Sunday after noon. Fished from Lookout to Fall Creek Sunday afternoon and Monday morning. I didn't see any shad, and didn't try white. Caught 4 14-15 inch on sculpen/olive 1/8 oz jigs Sunday afternoon in about 1 hour of fishing. Real men go propless!
