Report 12-27, 12-28-09

Hey guys,

After the slight rise we got from the rainy Christmas week I hit the river for a couple of guide trips. The river was running right at 1000 cfs but it was a 'good' 1000cfs with a great green color. The weather was brutally cold and windy...it was cold....did I mention cold?

We started with 2 rods rigged per guy, one a nymphing rig, and the other rigged with a big nasty streamer. Both bites were great from the drift boat and actually we did no wading at all...simply drifted from Kelly Ford to Blair. The best fish came on streamers both days but there was great numbers caught with a deep nymphing rig.
