I was out there Sunday afternoon as well 2-dark. One of the spinning guys. Not much luck with the rainbows until 30 minutes before dark, quick water near cut banks. Did have all kinds of chubs and goggle-eye, which keeps it enjoyable.

Came across Ozark Anglers years ago - love the design now with all the other waters forums on here.

Hey poker fisherman, I think I talked to you as I was heading back upstream to the low-water bridge. Hope to see you on the stream again some time.

Buzz I had an inkling after reading this thread that might have been you. This is my first winter in this area, and Hickory is easy to hit up to and from work in Joplin. After it warms up I'll be on Indian and Elk a lot, if I can't get to some big water.

It sounds like we'll be fishing some of the same waters. I'm looking forward to spring.
