Looking at the graph, it appears that they have reached a little above 1121, which I believe is about as far as they were going to drop the lake level. I would like to get out Saturday, but forecast looks a bit chilly.

Yes, it sounds like they're going to shut it down, or have already. I have the same thoughts about Saturday. I don't mind the temps, but if it's raining or blowing hard, not so much. Got a new rod coming in on Friday though, so might force myself to get out for a little while in any case. Have to test it, afterall!!

It looks like they haven't shut things down completely but they're not generating 24/7 any more either. Lake level is at 1121.29' and the plan was to get it back down to 1120.4' before they shut it down. Looks like the generators are running off and on throughout the day.

As far as the fishing goes Sunday's forecast looks a few degrees warmer but we all know that can change! :cold:

Yeah I would like to get out, I haven't been out in a few weeks. But still looking a little too chilly for my whimpy butt.

I was out for a couple of hours after work last night. Lake is down about 6' or more, judging by some of the rock walls I fish. Kind of cool to see some of the stuff that's been under water for a while!

Still lots of bait fish pods in the Praririe Creek area. Water temps were down a couple of degrees, right at 40 now.

When I crossed the Hwy 412 bridge yesterday morning there was a thin layer of ice starting to form on the water again but it was gone by 3 that afternoon. Water temp must still be pretty cold up that way.
