I did a little trading today. I will find out tomorrow if it was a good deal. I picked up a nice 6906 9mm, mint condition, DA/SA, decocker, 12+1, minimal wear. I also landed a 22A, 7" fluted bull barrel, 3 mags, premium laminated grips and standard rubber ones, fiberoptic front sight. I can't wait to make them go bang, bang a few times.

Gotta love Smith and Wesson Pistols.

I have a sweet spot for my Buckmark, but I've shot one of those 22A's, and liked it quite bit.

I took the pistols out for some range time yesterday. The 22a tuned in and made tight groups at 25 Yards. It was fun to shoot and balanced better than the Ruger 22/45 it replaced. The 6906 shot well too, I just need to make the front sight a little more visible. I carried the 6906 all day yesterday, it was light and comfortable.

When I shot competitively, which was eons ago, the Smiths were prefered over the Rugers and High Standards. They consistently had better triggers and tighter groups.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

I'll bet they weren't the 22A's though. Not to say that the 22A isn't a great little plinker with fine accuracy, but there is just nothing like a S&W 41. The only problem, the $1100 price tag!!!
