zander Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Alberto, You will like Missouri's fishing, and I compliment you getting on here and refining your English. My wife is from Croatia and before I go over there each time, I get on Croatian fishing forums and try to speak to them, and I know how difficult it is communicating in a different language. They usually get tired of trying to decipher my meaning and write in English as best as they can to help me out. Enjoy your visit. Phillip Springfield is about 45 minutes from Table Rock, although the white bass may be starting at that time and you don't have to have a boat to fish for them at certain places. keep watching the forum for more information.
Danoinark Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Welcome Alberto. Howdy is a slang term simply meaning Hello. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 23, 2010 Root Admin Posted February 23, 2010 To put it minutes... Rolla is about 90 minutes from Springfield. Table Rock Lake (Branson, Missouri) is 45 minutes south of Springfield.
eric1978 Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Hey Alberto, You don't need a guide to fish in the Ozarks unless you want to fish on a large lake in a boat. Since you're not rich like most of us, I would recommend fishing some small streams, which we have plenty of. You can wade or float many small streams, and will only cost you the price of a fishing license and the rental cost for a canoe if you choose to float. You can catch trout in many of our streams, and bass in all of them along with many other species. Many streams have smallmouth bass, which I highly recommend trying. Get yourself a good map of MO, keep reading this forum and check out the Missouri Department of Conservation website. In bocca al lupo!

Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 23, 2010 Root Admin Posted February 23, 2010 Vola - Fishing license is Missouri is $7 per day or if you're fishing more than 5 days it's best to buy an annual for $42. If you fish for trout you have to buy a trout permit for $7 (one time). You're going to be in Springfield and Bass Pro on the 27th of March. Were you planning to fish the next day, Sunday? Just the one day?

Welcome to the forum Ozarks pesca, amico.
