Alberto,

You will like Missouri's fishing, and I compliment you getting on here and refining your English. My wife is from Croatia and before I go over there each time, I get on Croatian fishing forums and try to speak to them, and I know how difficult it is communicating in a different language. They usually get tired of trying to decipher my meaning and write in English as best as they can to help me out. Enjoy your visit.

Springfield is about 45 minutes from Table Rock, although the white bass may be starting at that time and you don't have to have a boat to fish for them at certain places. keep watching the forum for more information.

To put it minutes... Rolla is about 90 minutes from Springfield. Table Rock Lake (Branson, Missouri) is 45 minutes south of Springfield.

Hey Alberto,

You don't need a guide to fish in the Ozarks unless you want to fish on a large lake in a boat. Since you're not rich like most of us, I would recommend fishing some small streams, which we have plenty of. You can wade or float many small streams, and will only cost you the price of a fishing license and the rental cost for a canoe if you choose to float. You can catch trout in many of our streams, and bass in all of them along with many other species. Many streams have smallmouth bass, which I highly recommend trying. Get yourself a good map of MO, keep reading this forum and check out the Missouri Department of Conservation website.

Smallmouth don't live in Italy, so I would be very excited to fish one...!

If I can fish without a boat I am happy, but I know the lake is very big so I don't know where place to go to fish bass... If someone send me a private message to inform me of one or two places I will be very thankful to him and I keep the secret only for me

Streams are river? I fish with spinning, is good tecnique for that streams?

Someone can tell me the price of the license and where I can buy it near Rolla?

Bravo eric, ti rispondo Crepi  !

Welcome to the forum.

You guys are missing a great chance to do some trading with Alberto.

Some of you bass guys that also trout fish need to trade trips,

bass fishing here for some time on those streams in Italy, if

I was better at bass fishing I would try to do some trading myself.

Vola - Fishing license is Missouri is $7 per day or if you're fishing more than 5 days it's best to buy an annual for $42. If you fish for trout you have to buy a trout permit for $7 (one time).

You're going to be in Springfield and Bass Pro on the 27th of March. Were you planning to fish the next day, Sunday? Just the one day?

Welcome to the forum Ozarks pesca, amico.
