duckydoty Posted February 28, 2010 Author Posted February 28, 2010 Nice report. What blend did you use for the thorax on the BHPTN? I have no idea what that is. Something I just grabbed out of the drawer. Looks like it has some flash in it though. I usually just use awesome possum in some kind of tan. Members Matt Tucker Posted February 28, 2010 Members Posted February 28, 2010 I was supposed to meet another guy at Crane today but I couldn't figure out where the dairy farm access was. Fished the upper Wire Road Access instead. Caught lots of these little dudes (see below) .... nothing bigger than 10". Stonefly nymphs, scuds, PTs, Princes, and eggs. No dry action while I was there. PC Paola Cat: It was nice running into you on the stream yesterday. We found the "Dairy Farm" access later that day (it is off of Swinging Bridge Road and is the lower Wire Road Access). Was surprised at the number of people fishing yesterday in the upper section and at the City Park. Did run in to "Ray from Crane" that afternoon and he showed us alot of the lower section of river. Didn't shoot a ton of photos, but did snap a couple that will be posted to my site later today. I do have the GPS coordinates for you now though, so if you shoot me an email I can email them to you. --matt tucker =================================================== The pursuit of Ozark trout on the fly. http://www.OzarkChronicles.com ===================================================
