Members MobileBear Posted March 9, 2010 Members Posted March 9, 2010 I live in Mobile, Alabama, and plan to do a canoe trip on the Buffalo in April. I will be canoeing with my 14 year old son, and am looking forward to my first trip to Arkansas and the Buffalo River. It looks beautiful and should give us memories for years to come. Any advice is greatly appreciated. A little about me: I am 46, Police Captain, love the outdoors, mountain biking, camping, hiking, geocaching, etc.
Flysmallie Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Welcome to the forum. My only advice is to enjoy the river, it's beautiful. Hopefully the weather will be good and the river will be at a float-able stage. If you are into hiking then you will be happy with the area around Kyle's Landing. Maybe even hike up to Hemmed in Hollow.
