emjay Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 No offense- but how did you legally snag 32 paddlefish in six hours? Beats me. From the MDC site: "no person shall continue to snag, snare or grab for any species after taking a daily limit of two (2) paddlefish." Maybe thats why they do it at night? Haha, just kidding guys...
Members Jeff Burkhart Posted March 29, 2010 Author Members Posted March 29, 2010 I kept the big ones u see... all others were not gaffed, unhooked and kicked back into the water. On Fri night I kept the 86lbr when i caught him and continued to snag until I hooked the 68lbr then went home... came back at 12:30 sat morn and snagged until i hooked the 53 then snagged and released until i hooked the 92lbr and went home.. completely legal talked to a warden and if you throw them back they are not considered to be counted toward your daily limit
Members Jeff Burkhart Posted March 29, 2010 Author Members Posted March 29, 2010 Fish are clear above Hootn Town now back in white bass mode... went this evening at TeaTables and caught 13 studs and a 24" walleye.
