When I try to look at the middle james river map it comes up as lower james river? I did find the middle on another page and was curious on why there were no spots marked for L,K,SM. I have fished this area for years and have had a lot of success here. Is it that you do not fish that far up or do you consider the areas you have marked to be considerably better. If that is the case I am willing to try something different. We always night fish and have had real good luck up this way. I know the water is very murky right now and was trying to decide where to fish this next weekend during the full moon. I love the rock and would love to find other areas to fish besides middle james, that's just where I've always gone.

I'll clean it up tomorrow- thanks for pointing it out.

As far as marking- I'll have Babler look at it. Not sure if I asked him to mark it earlier.

My parents have a place at McCord Bend near Galena and I fish out of the Cape Fair Boat Dock. I agree there is some great fishing in the middle James River area. Lots of timber holding some nice Crappie and when the Whites are spawning you can catch a limit in no time at all!

KUBrent,

I grew up in Independence and have been down here for 11 years. I'm about 45 minutes from my driveway to Cape Fair boat dock. Let me know anytime you're down in this area.

When I click the link for the maps it takes me to the home page. Are there any maps that show the names of all the coves on TR? I'm trying to find the names for the coves on either side of the end of YY9/County Line Road in Shell Knob. TIA!!

This is awesome that you share this.  I am planning to have the family down there in mid June (about 2 weeks from now) and would love to get the kids into a mess of crappies and a mess of Kentucky bass.  How well do you think these areas will hold up in mid June? We will be near Indian point but could go about anywhere on the lake.
