denjac Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 We need to make a big sign to put in aunts creek. No fishing allowed, by order of Techno. Caught 4 last night near Indian Point on grubs, shallower than I expected. Dennise, your spot is amazing right now also... SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ! Dennis Boothe Joplin Mo. CaptainJoe Posted April 1, 2010 Author Posted April 1, 2010 Joe, I ended up with 6 total three just on that bank I seen you at.. All on that grub.. Wind just flat kicked my rearend, but I found I had to be in it to get the bite.. Stayed out till noon then said the heck with this.. 35 MPH gusts really can slam you around.. Back out in the morning on a trip we will see if that bite holds good and will let you know.. Don The wind is your friend. Yea, I went in around 1:30 pm, but you are correct: You had to be in the wind to get bit. Hope you had a good day today. The wind was bad mid-morning, but seemed to calm down in the mid-afternoon. I spent the day cleaning the pontoon. Captain Joe Hreha Owner of MO Fenchbulldogs.com; Captain Joe's Guide Service (Retired); OAF Contributor; & Captain, U. S.
