flytyer57 Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Looks to be pretty close to ebing usable. http://harrisondailytimes.com/articles/2010/04/08/news/doc4bbd35e282026039443685.txt Article says the bridge is complete. The picture included shows plenty of work to be done on the banks to stabilize the bridge so the banks don't wash away during high water. Does anyone know where the access will be located? Used to park in the lot across the slab, but if they're taking that out, will they also take out the parking area? That Center is a bit of a hike to the creek for someone with bad knees and hips. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
gotmuddy Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 I wanna see a pic of the old slab to see if its wide enough for my riverboat everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
flytyer57 Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 I took a drive over to Kelly's Slab to check up on the progress over there. It doesn't look like anything has been done since that article was written. The bridge appears to be done, but there's a rope across it so ya can't use it. It doesn't look like there's much of a road on the other side either. Saw 1 guy fishing from the slab, and a couple of guys getting ready to launch a canoe. Didn't stop to ask if anybody was catching anything since I was running late for dinner. When the middle of the slab is out, it looks like there should be plenty of room to get a drift boat through there. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
