Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted April 10, 2010 Root Admin Posted April 10, 2010 Put in about 5 pm and tried a few places before heading in Swan. Up close to the dam in slack water. Down at Barker and the Willow Bank. Nothing. Up in Swan, we boated past the old dam. Water very clear. Did not see a white. One guy fishing the brush said he caught one white earlier. We trolled up further and saw nothing. Back down to the deeper water along the chunk rock and had one white follow a rebel. Fished all the way out to the bend- nothing. Saw one white caught before we pulled out. Water gun clear. Don't know temp.
Tightline Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 I was also down at Swan this evening, and I think I may have seen you Phil.I started out at the old dam and went up. Seen nothing but Bass, one tree that had fallen I counted 13 bass, all largemouth, some were real dandys. Thats Swan for you, last night they said the bottom was covered with Whites. I'm headed for TR in the mourning to catch some slabs, hopefully.
Dutch Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 I'm thinking it's bout over down there so I'm going to the Rock this am.
Trav Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 I'm thinking it's bout over down there so I'm going to the Rock this am. No offense..but I have never had any luck above K docks on the weekend. Of course swapping gestures as I fish has never been a good thing either.. "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
