OBBT Staff Posted May 30, 2010 Author Posted May 30, 2010 Have there been 100 people register yet or are some of the early registration rods still available?? Yes, the pre-reg rods are all accounted for. You can still register online for the event though or come to one of the registrations at Bass Pro Shops next Thursday or Friday. Mark
OBBT Staff Posted June 1, 2010 Author Posted June 1, 2010 Reg at Bass Pro Shops in Springfield and Branson Thursday 5pm-9pm and Friday 9am-9pm. Hope to see you there.
Chris King Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 I'm sure this will be answered at the registration, but posting it here might save a few questions for you. What time can we start fishing Saturday and Sunday? I think you said we'll get a text but should we be ready at 5,6,7? Safe light is pretty early now but I assume there's a time you have in mind. 5AM works for me? Â

techo Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 mark, Nice meeting you and your posse today. I learned more about sunglasses than I knew existed. I was bummed that BPS didn't have the glasses I decided on, but we can always order online. On the downside.....the Mrs has decided she won't give up her seat for KVD in this weekend's tournament. I hope he isn't too hurt, but she is the boss! Good luck on your tourney! Tim Carpenter
Tfsh4bass Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 A little surprised at the weights today but I know I had a tough time catching good ones. Still with 255 fisherman I was pretty shocked there were only 2 over 5lbs weighed in. I caught 11 keepers today but 3lb 4oz was my biggest and that wasn't worth anything today...would have been close in the 10am hour but I was up at Campbell Point at that time and didn't have a clue if it would have been worth my time to drive to weigh in. Caught fish all day but man I hate being on TRock on the weekends in the June-Aug...there are so many more big boats than there used to be and it was brutal running from Kimberling City to the Big Cedar area. If you guys ever come back please do March or April
techo Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 I talked to Mark on Friday. I guess it was a last minute thing setting this one uo and they intend to be back earlier next year. I brought up the same point. We have the AIA tomorrow and dread the boat traffic! Tim Carpenter

I brought up the same point. We have the AIA tomorrow and dread the boat traffic! I was fishing a point across from point 7 today and turned around and counted 27 pleasure/ski boats in my line of sight...freakin nuts. After that mess today I have decided tomorrow I will fish back in creeks all day and see what happens...just fishing for 1 bite and figured I can do it just as easy back there. Good luck in the AIA and be careful!!!
