Thought for sure this was just another result of ramblings from a moron, but I looked it up just in case and sure enough, it's real. Did you pick that up when you lived in the northwest?

Not sure. Now that you mention it, I think that my Grandfather used to say that and he was from Illinois, by way of Oklahoma. I guess it is just one of those old time slang words?!?!

Chief- Agreed.

Peewadden = pee water. At least thats the definition I was given as a kid. If you get my meaning.

If fishing was easy it would be called catching.

You know, if it doesn't stop raining we could probably manage to do the whole creek from Alan bridge to Undercliff in a few hours. :)

Seriously though, I am up for Allen to Lime Kiln. I can fit 5 people pretty comfortably in my truck if we want to do some carpooling on the shuttle. If that is the case we can drop canoes at 9:00 at Alan Bridge, drive my truck and a few others to the take out and then get a ride back to the put in to start the float. This would save each group from having to take multiple vehicles (and using that much more $2.60 a gallon gas. If we are going to wait until we finish floating to eat then we can just pack some ice chests, food and what not in the vehicles at the take out too. This will keep us from loosing any of the food when someone tips over ;)

Just my thought.

Yeah, I am hoping things are somewhat back to near normal on the creek for this. I am sure it will be.

It looks like we are going to have in the neighborhood of 10 boats. I am bringing my trailer that can a haul 6. I thought someone else that is coming also had a trailer to haul 6 or so. I am hoping that we only need to take about 3 vehicles to Allen Bridge. And like you are saying, we will leave all the food and stuff at Lime Kiln.

Got my MO license today with general trout stamp. Checked out Shoal Creek for the first time at the Lime Kiln Access. That is a small creek as far as I could see. Hopefully the water levels go down too. Looked like a lot of milk in some bad coffee. See ya @ 8 AM.

There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
