Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 1, 2006 Root Admin Posted June 1, 2006 Had a guy come by a couple of days ago and showed me a few good cats he'd caught on trot line the night before. He said he was setting the line in 8 foot of water. When we were on the James yesterday I saw lots of jug line outs. One was bobbing. It's getting to be time for the big cats!
denjac Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Any good cat holes in the Indians? Will be staying at the back end of North little Indian. I have also heard that it was good under the bridge at Kimberling city? Dennis Boothe Joplin Mo. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 1, 2006 Author Root Admin Posted June 1, 2006 I would like they are moving to flats at night to feed... but someone else needs to talk about this subject cause I'm not an authority. I would think point 5 would be a great place. Also I know one friend who's done well in the cove directly to the south of the tip of Indian Point on the opposite bank. The coves opens to the north.

Members Whitehorse Posted July 7, 2006 Members Posted July 7, 2006 Dad and I have had a line out for a couple weeks now around the Cape Fair area. Baited it last night and ran it this morning and caught 2 channels DEAD ON THE LINE. Any one have any ideas why? Did Springfield open its little spillway again. Thanks for any input.
