Headed down to Stockton for a weekend of fishing, relaxing...and working on the camper. Fixed a couple of water leaks on the camper Saturday, checked the weather and it looked like a storm was gonna pass over the lake about every hour. Tied some spinner harnesses and kicked back in the camper all afternoon. Went out today about 11:00 AM and fished for about 2 1/2 hours. Decided I wasn't keeping anything as I wanted to fish as long as possible before packing up and heading home, and didn't have time to deal with cleaning and packaging fish. Fished a main lake points and hauled in six keeper walleye and two small bass pulling bottom bouncers w/crawler harnesses. All of the fish were chunky 17-20 inchers. They hit hard and fought like they thought they were bigguns'. All were returned to the water and will be there for others to enjoy.
