roy_eros Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Lets hear some predictions guys... weight, lure, area of the lake? Species?? How awesome would it be to see a chunky spot or Brownie win this thing..(I know highly unlikely, but you have to admit possible lol) This thing is going to be different for me, going to try to slow down and really pick apart specific areas that have produced big fish for me in the past. Anybody heard how many anglers they are expecting?
Hogfan Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Here's my guess... 7.12 pound largemouth caught on a jig or DD22 up the James River.
Gone Fishing Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Great topic. Lets go with a 6.68lb LM swimming up the James munching on a Jig.
Members CollegeFish86 Posted June 3, 2010 Members Posted June 3, 2010 Im thinking a 5.75 lb largie from the Kimberling city area
techo Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 It should be jig time, BUT I agree with Hoigfan. I think it will come from the James on some type of crank bait. Tim Carpenter
Tfsh4bass Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Low 6lber on a spook or big crank...anywhere on the lake wouldn't surprise me One thing I will add is I bet it takes around a 4lber to get a check each hour especially if they get their 500...probably even with 300
