Whites?

Anyone seen or caught any whites recently. Have a big 4th planned and needs some fish. Got some cats froze from trotlines but need some more grease candy. If I can find out where to go, be going friday night for them.

The last place I found them was around old 86 about 2 weeks ago, They were chasing shad in the evenings but I havent seen them since.

Jason, last week there were whites from one end to the other on the bluff across form Baxter swimming area. Caught around 15 very quickly that afternoon. Went back out Monday to rip them a new one and the joke was on me. Not a fish sufaced that afternoon. I did see alot on the graph but they never made it to the top. Would'nt eat the spoon for nothing.

Kind of like gone fishing said, here one day and gone tomorrow. Nothing you can hang your hat on. Best bite however without a doubt lake wide, has been evenings. Really you just have to get lucky. I know Webb is just running and looking for them in the mornings. Takes some gas, but may be the best way.

I fished out of Eagle Rock last night and saw a few surfacing in RR arm late.

Jason, had a daylight blow up in north little indian last week. Had fun with them for 30 minutes and poof they was gone. Didnt see anymore the rest of the week. Have to be at the right place at the right time.

Saw a couple schools Tuesday in the late morning around the mouth of Aunts. They were up quick and down quicker.

Thanks guys Sounds like they are spotty everywhere. Hoped for something worth going after. Anyways, I will try tomorrow evening. Have a boat full of kids probably, when the boat stops they all start casting... . Better idea might be to set a couple trotlines tonight and tomorrow night. Least I am sure to catch a few cats. If I find any whites or cats, will post back.

They came up near me today Jason. I was just above Holiday Island and they were chopping the 1 inch long shad babies. Took 9 to 2 pounds. I wrote a report.
