Members Ozarkroots Posted July 7, 2010 Members Posted July 7, 2010 Does anyone know if it's ok to put in around the bridge just down from Orla Mill or is that Empire territory? I'd like to fish around the mill and can't figure out how to get in there.
Flysmallie Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 I Have no idea but these Empire jerks need their butt kicked.
Gavin Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 I dont know either...Last time was down that way the upper section didnt look that inviting. Dont remember going by Orla, but there were lots of cattle in most of the spots that didnt have no tresspassing under penalty of death type signs. Ended up fishing the Upper G. Nade between Competition & Falcon. Fishing was pretty good. Cheers.

Wayne SW/MO Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Yes you can on the northwest side of the bridge. Just don't go to far upstream, to avoid a hassle. you can generally go downstream, or could, because the shoals are shallow enough to wade back up and the holes slow enough to paddle up. You can judge by the hole at the bridge. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Wayne SW/MO Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Empire? [/quote) The owners of Empire Gas have a ranch on the Osage Fork and believe the river bottom is theirs and they have some goons that harass and threaten anyone who comes down the river. I don't know that its ever been legally challenge however, someone else might have info that I don't. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
