Members Ozark Baby Posted July 9, 2010 Members Posted July 9, 2010 I went to Shawnee trails Conservation Area and fished the in the Pin Oaks Lake and this was my first fish I caught. I was amazed. I caught him on a small Bluegill, quite by accident. This one was almost 3 lbs and then I caught another Bass that was almost 1 1;2 lbs. My last fish of the day was a catfish, also caught with a small Bluegill and he was about 2 lbs. All in all, it was a very good day of fishing out there. I am not the best at fishing but I do so love to be out doing it and the nice quiet and all.

There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
awhuber Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 is that a stringer I see? Here we go again.... get some pop corn!

rps Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 No. There is no reason to "here we go again." Let it go.
gotmuddy Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 how big was the catfish? Any day fishing is a good day. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
jdmidwest Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Poor little fishy choked on a yellow hunk of nylon rope before you let him go. Looks kinda pale like a fish out of water. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
