What did you catch? There is a big Quarry pond in the industrial park next to the creek, but it is private and the Budrovich company will run you off.

I fished that quarry a couple times when I was about 14 before getting run off. There are HUGE gills and lots of good bass there.

That quarry pond in Crestwood is in Whitecliff Park next to Grant's Farm. The old quarry pond is fenced and posted..but they used to open it up for Crestwood Residents once or twice a year. Not sure if they still do because I moved.

The pond over by Kenrick looks like fairly easy access but you will probably be tresspassing. There are some public lakes down in Fenton...Simpson County Park, Unger County Park...and the Fabick Lakes over by Fenton City Park. Cheers.

I have also fished the one behind the theatre several times. It is a private neighbor hood pond. If you stay to the south facing sides, you might be ok but residents go for walks around there a lot so dont plan on staying long. A friend of mine had the cops called on him once. They didn't ticket him, but he had to leave. I actually had a great uncle that lived their for a bit so I actually had legit permission a couple times but he has passed. There are really big buffalo, decent bluegills and cats, and decent bass there. Never caught a lot of bass but always caught a few. There are a couple big ones there.

I haven't heard good things about Femme Osage either. I've fished Gravois Creek recently and had a great time, though it's not a 'clean' body of water (so wash your hands after you are done fishing). I accessed it from Clydesdale County Park off of Grant's Trail.

a buddie and I used to fish the creek very often in the past recent years.....if you park at the trail entrance under highway 55 and walk up there is a very nice hole under the railroad bridge iv caught a couple bass out of there in the 14 to 15 inch range over the years and i only fly fish it now but a few years back we used to catch some nice 20 inch channels out of there and lots of small yellow cats. Water is supposed to be nasty from what i see with all the signs but the fish seem alright. never eat anything out of there. also under tesson bridge there is a nice hole.
