We had 14 fish caught, weighed and released into the lake. we did lose one fish but it was due to gill injury and couldn't stop it.

The other fish were released into the lake after going thru a post traumatic stress interview with Brandon Inman. After finding all of the fish physcologically fit for the lake, brandon released all but one back to the water. The results from the interviews will be used for later tournaments to help decrease the amount of stress that these poor creatures go thru. I personally feel they have a great life. They get to live on the lake, eat whatever they want. take free boat rides to activities on the other side of the lake, and then can swim back.

Well since all of the bass were found to be mentally ok to be put back into the lake, here are the results.

1st place went to Jody Beach and Jim Flora who caught 4 fish that weighed 11.46 lbs

2nd place went to mark Ruggles and Rob Shackelford who had 5 fish that weighed 11.27 lbs

Very close tonight and some awesome fish were caught. Big bass went to flora and beach with a 4.66 lb fish

Don't forget next thursday take off 6 pm open to everyone!!!!

Well the fish told me that they was not hungry last night and that's why we only had 2 instead of 5 I just figured that they went to church with bob and that's why we could not find them!!!!!

Does interviewing fish, particularly bass, require an interpreter? Wonder if there is a Rosetta Stone for that language? :)

Hubby and I are here this week (Champ188). Might come over and fish with you guys tomorrow night. I'm pumped about the interviews. Pretty hot and tough today. Few bites early, but it pretty much died around 11. Threw everything in the boat at them. Fished mid-lake to dam. Think we are headed up tomorrow. We'll be in a white and silver Champion 188 with red and black trim and a 200 Optimax with a OA sticker. We'll be easy to spot - crazy lady passenger with a giant white towel over her head. lol Come on fall and winter. PLEAAASSEE.

look out guys. WE are all in trouble Champ is bringing his secret weapon. Keep up the good work Donna. My wife thinks its pretty cool to see yall fishing together alot. I too finally got lucky 5 years ago when I met Lisa. We have some of our best times out on the lake when we are not at the office working.

Hows TECHO been. Haven't been on TBR in a while. Tell him Charles said Fish on.

Oh yeah. Man do I feel awful now. I forgot all about the OAF stickers for our motors. My brother is finally came up from Louisiana to fish in Branson this weekend. I am going to Phil Lilley's to get some stickers for the motor.

Anyone reading this report should call Phil Lilley and get the OAF stickers. It is a good way for all of us up here to notice each other on the lake and get familiar. Camaraderie is good for the soul.

Good Luck and Safe Fishing

I hope you didn't show up to fish. Had 2 boats call with trouble making it and we have only been getting 7 boats per night so I really hope I didn't get you to the ramp and nobody was there. If so I am very sorry.

and I have to agree with the fall and winter thing. this hot weather is doing me in!!

Hey Bob, thanks much for the post but we didn't make it either Thursday night. Struggled MIGHTILY all week. In hindsight, shoulda put a lot more effort into locating the "public" brushpiles and hammered away at them. Had one keeper for 4.29 Saturday in the CPA pro-am, and Donna and I had two keepers in the team derby on Sunday. Had one decent area near the dam with a ledge drop and bled it dry off and on for two days. You'd pull up there and get a couple or three quick bites, then they'd quit and you'd have to go off and fish elsewhere for an hour or so. Come back, get a couple of bites and they'd quit. Like I said, I beat it up pretty good.

Predator1, appreciate the kind words but any secret weapons misfired this week. Biggest misfire of all was my feeble brain. Just couldn't get around any keeper fish. Anytime you see me drop-shotting darn near all day, you know I'm struggling to the max. :D Appreciate the kind words about Donna and I fishing together. As always, the highlight of my week was getting to spend 4 out of 5 days fishing with my best bud. No matter how hot the weather, maddening the boat traffic or slow the bite, there's a lot to be said for being together, doing what we love.

You guys have a great lake up there. I gotta have half of a kidney carved out the end of this month to get rid of some cancer, but I told Donna on the way home yesterday that we need to get back up there this fall/early winter and do some fun fishing.

Champ 188, I am really sorry to hear about your kidney cancer. I will keep you in my prayers. My brother is currently on his second year of fighting advanced melanoma. You really need to count your blessings. I can tell from your postings that Donna will be by your side and take good care of you. My brother is not married and has to deal with his situation without that support a good wife can give. I hope that all works out well for you both. My wife and I will miss your postings, we always enjoy reading them.
