Finally Found Big Bertha

My biggest was 10lb, 8oz while bank walking a big private pond in Hot Springs. Ate a frog. I think there's a picture of it in the big fish thread.

I had opportunity to fish an un-fished farm pond about twenty years ago. It was full of hand size bluegill but skinny bass that had their head too close to their tail. The bluegill were excellent. They were a pale color of pink and orange that I have seen no where else. We did eat well for a few days.

Maybe a bass like that is waiting for me in the next farm pond.

Nice hog and nice looking!!! I caught a 7lb in my dads farm pond one time on the flyrod.
