i've had two gheenoes. i love em, except for the weight. they are great boats. i had a johnson 5hp on mine. i mostly used it in spring river for white bass.

i sold the first one, and then I regretted it. Got lucky and found another, so i bought it.

i sold that one earlier this year...wish i hadn't but i did.

i sold both of them of them thru the forum, so they're out there somewhere.

at 120 lbs empty it takes some muscles to get it to remote water. I'm building a set of wheels to help out. I've recently purchased a kayak. It's around 52 lbs

A few more pix from the last couple of years

My first time there yesterday... BEAUTIFUL place and a hidden gem that the guys in Texas have been keeping secret from us for sure... Didn't get to fish, but it looked great! Water was up, so no wading anyway. I can tell you it's worth a trip down for some different water.

I fished Broken Bow lake a lot while i lived in that area. Never did the trout thing. The area in your first pic up around holly creek is a really good area in the spring. This time of year, fishing can be really tough on that lake. Drop shot or shaky head jig during the day w/finesse worms. Early and late in the day are your best bet. Can be some good top water action. I miss the lack of boat traffic compared to TR.......

We make an annual spring fishing/turkey hunting trip down there. That cabin looked amazing. Any more details or a website for that cabin?
