I stayed up all night last night backing up my computer so I decided to go fishing before the sun come up and the roosters started to make noise.

I went to Yellville and had a little fun. These are the biggest fish I caught today, mostly on a Tiny Torpedo.

The big one really surprised me. He was in about 6 inches of water and nailed the Torpedo when it hit the water. I forgot to get a measurement on it before letting it go. Best guess is in the 16-17 inch range. Almost lost him as he bulldogged into a snag by the bridge. I was lucky enough to get him out and away from the brush so I could get a good look at him (her?)

There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.

nice fish spiderman. How was the water flowing?

Wasn't too bad but it was a lot lower than when we went through. Might be a lot of dragging. I only went up a few hundred feet above the bridge wading. A canoe could get through there if it wasn't loaded down. Not sure about the other shoals up or down creek.

ps. just killed one on the garage door.

Nice fish. Sounds like a really good morning.

If fishing was easy it would be called catching.

You didn't happen to notice an anchor in the rapids coming out of the willow trees about 200yds up from the bridge did ya? I've got to get back down there and retrieve it I hope, but I'm betting someone else may have snagged it already
