Members moduck38834 Posted August 23, 2010 Author Members Posted August 23, 2010 I just find it hilarious when people add their .02 in on something a guy's trying to sale when they have no interest at all in it. And as to what he gave up, yeah, he took a bath---wonder why anyone would give up that stuff for that price?! Sounds like it must have been ragged out. Anyway, I'll let you know if it doesn't move this week, but with the amount of people I've had looking at it, I figure it will. BTW, in Springfield, but fish LOZ every chance I get. Love night fishing that lake! Besides, it's almost duck season----a 14x36 and a 9.9 is the rig of choice for the duck parks unless you're running a layout boat! Take it easy!
FishinCricket Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 First of all, I was interested in the boat or I would not have looked at your post. Second, my boat was in a lot better condition. Third, yes I did take a bath on it, but not much. Had to sell when I got layed off from my job and needed the cash. Here's a pic of my boat before I added the front deck for the trolling motor. And this somehow justifies trashing his for sale thread? If your interested, bite.. If your best offer doesn't cut it, move on... (WTH?) cricket.c21.com
jjtroutbum Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 So WTF? This is a sale thread not a regular thread. IMHO it is in pour taste and extremely dense of someone not to see that. Manners some have em. Sadly most do not anymore. Jon Joy ___________ "A jerk at one end of the line is enough." unknown author The Second Amendment was written for hunting tyrants not ducks. jjtroutbum Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 Moduck I apologize for further mucking up your thread. Seems I could not explain why its inappropriate. To comment about others sale ads negatively. Jon Joy ___________ "A jerk at one end of the line is enough." unknown author The Second Amendment was written for hunting tyrants not ducks. Yet another case where just cause someone has the right to do it doesn't make it a prudent decision. cricket.c21.com
Members BigMinnow Posted August 25, 2010 Members Posted August 25, 2010 Hey guys, I'm in the retail business.....I actually find it comical. Thing is, I know I priced it too high the first time...corrected it, and all someone has to do is make some offers and they are in a boat. I just find it tacky to bad mouth someone elses post. If you were laid off, or whatever the case is and you were trying to sell something, then you'd want to try to get as much as possible for it....which is made near impossible when someone talks negatively about what you are trying to sell. Common courtesy sometimes goes out the door....he may have thought he was doing someone a favor by saying what he did, and so be it....I hold nothing against him. He's entitled to his opinion and I am mine, just as everyone else is entitled to their own. Takes a lot to get to this ole fella! But I can assure you, I'd only say you were over priced on something in a PM and not on the forum.....and as to the rest of you guys, thanks for the support. I'm in a selling mood today,(that being a good mood--not bc I'm "overpriced" but bc I got some good news), so make some offers and let's just see what happens....almost Teal season, so I know somebody needs it! lol! Take care guys, and if you want to come by and see it, it's at 2333 E. Bennett Street, Springfield. Chris I coming by this week to take a look.
