flytyer57 Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 Just wondering what everyone else has been tying lately. I've been tying up some panfish flies, some Gurgelers and some Double Bunnies. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
Geoff Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 a version of a green weenie. Gotta get some beads and more ultra chenile today and make some more. Then probably some bass flies, or gar rope flies. "When you do things right, people wont be sure you've done anything at all."
Flysmallie Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 Streamers, streamers, streamers. And working on a new popper.....still. Â Â

DaddyO Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 At the moment, my vise is empty. But I'll be tying Hair and Coppers, Soft Hackles and maybe Comparaduns tonight. My son and I are going fishing in the morning. DaddyO We all make decisions; but, in the end, our decisions make us.
Outside Bend Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 Madame X's, although I need to crank out some nymphs this morning. <{{{><

eric1978 Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 I'm still in smallmouth mode, but as soon as the weather turns cold, I'll be tying a bunch of essentials...hare's ears, soft hackles, scuds, copper johns and other nymphs. I've been buying bits of material here and there all summer in preparation, and I plan to spend a lot of time at the bench this winter to get my tying skills up to par. I've got a lot to learn.
