A Rare Sighting

They're there. undercover. I have a friend who is an agent and goes undercover at r.r. trust me - they're there.

I have seen them driving through a couple times this season. Once last year i even had one walking down the bank checking tags and stringers.

I was down there this past weekend,,,saw MDC trucks drive through two or three times,,but was kind of disappointed they did not take notice of people fishing without daily tags. I saw that quite a bit on this trip.

I have seen people putting jackets over their tags when it gets a little chilly outside. Don't be so quick to assume they didn't have a tag. I have seen people fishing out of ignorance and probably flat out refusal to buy tags too though.

The ones my wife and i noticed all had tee shirts on,,,it was in the afternoon. We talked to some other people that are regulars also,,they noticed the same thing. I had not really noticed it much before untill my wife brought it to my attention.

Or walk over (with your phone to your ear) and ask where their fishin tag is.. When they ask why, tell them "I have Officer Hutton on the line, he told me to ask before he came downstream and accosted you.."

They'll either leave or produce their tag.. (works EVERY time)
