Members Ozarkroots Posted September 15, 2010 Author Members Posted September 15, 2010 Thats pretty irritating....most of us just shoot up to where we want to fish and then float back. Putting in at Prosperine would let us avoid the huge masses of canoers upriver, but still not have to go all the way around to Lead Mine.
fishinwrench Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Roots, Actually if you have 4WD and tires that can handle the rocks it wouldn't be that difficult to launch in that little backwater hole just below the riffle at Prosperine. You'd just have to drift down 50 yards or so then shoot up the riffle. Fish that hole before you drop the trailer off in it though, cuz there's usually a few fish holding in it.

Will Mountain Creek not let you pay to launch at the campground anymore? I haven't stayed there in many years but used to launch there when I would camp there.
Members highroller2145 Posted November 7, 2010 Members Posted November 7, 2010 Nothing more aggravating than a jet boat muddying up the river while your trying to catch 74 goggle eye.
