The state park or up near the creek?

If you are looking for cats you should be close to the dam this time of year.

I was at the Point where the Creek comes in there.

Yea I've had my Best Luck fishing that Cove where the Docks are by the Dam.

Got a question I used my Throw Net got a bunch of them 2" Shad. How is it best to Bait a Hook with them? Small or Big hook, just a Couple or a Bunch of Shad?

Hmmm.....I would think one shad per hook....If the bait is two inches long I would probably use a 1/0 hook but go to a 2/0 if they are much bigger. Just me...I know some guys like to use 4/0.

Thanks Trav,

I was down this weekend but wasn't able to spend a lot of time on the water. Best bite I had was a goldish Bitsy Bug jig with a pbj small Eakins trailer.

Also picked up a few on white spinnerbait. Most everything was on main lake and secondary points in 5 feet or so.

Good Luck

Chris, I posted a report. The best bite today was on black warts but I am pretty sure any crank with a natural baitfish color would have worked.
