Members osuangler Posted September 17, 2010 Members Posted September 17, 2010 Hello Sir! I sure hope that all is well in your world. I was in Bass Pro Shop yesterday in Broken Arrow and saw a picture of you in a book they were selling, "fishing the Ozarks" I think. It sure must have been cold when they took it, beard, heavy coat and waders, the whole bit! Anywho, had some time to kill and read what they had about fishing in that area. Good read. Have a good one. Jay Parker Jay Parker An angler is a man who spends rainy days sitting around on the muddy banks of rivers doing nothing because his wife won't let him do it at home. ~Author Unknown
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted September 18, 2010 Root Admin Posted September 18, 2010 Not sure what that book would have been. There's a book that's out of print that may be it - Ozark Trout Tales by Steve Wright.
Members osuangler Posted September 20, 2010 Author Members Posted September 20, 2010 Hmmm... That may have been it, not sure. I will look again when I get back up there. Members fishncrazy Posted December 31, 2010 Members Posted December 31, 2010 Mr lilley,I have been reading your reports for many years on the internet.Great Job! I have a copy of Ozark Trout Tales.and it's worn from use. I would like to see one similar about walleye & sauger,Between Oklahoma & Arkansas should be plenty to write. I read quite a bit of what you have put out on the subject already,The one that sticks out is the time you helped the Missouri game&fish Electro shock below powersite. Many moons ago. again Great Job!
