Chief Grey Bear Posted October 12, 2010 Author Posted October 12, 2010 It was really something wily. You missed seeing a really good looking boat that Zack brought up. Just gorgeous. I want to take this time to personally thank each and everone of you that made the trek. We again had more food than we knew what to do with. I know I had 3 bowls of chili. I hope that all that made and those that were not able to, will come again next spring. DD'sMC looks like you caught a really nice fish. I don't ducky posing with one that big! Jeremy that was nice double you got for yourself. And the boys had a really good time every time we stopped. Hey Buzz, watch out for icebergs! woodman Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Shoal Creek never fished their before, at least that I know of having been born in Joplin. I bet Mom and Granddad fished their though. Looks like a real good time..one to remember..like an (Indian summer weekend) Last weekend would have been an excelent time to be on the Little Niangua which is two and 1/2 hrs from Bates City. Instead we were in Lathrop for the Living History Festival with the Indian Councel of Many Nations we belong to. our lodge http://s147.photobucket.com/albums/r302/scrawford_photos/
Chief Grey Bear Posted October 13, 2010 Author Posted October 13, 2010 Hey that is really cool woodman! I am sure you had a great time there. I haven't been to that type of festival in years. Wow that was always a great time with great culture. We will have another float this spring. Hopefully you can join us.
