denjac Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 Fished from Baxter to Cambell point today. Had a nice bite on the redfin with the help of the fog. The bite lasted until 11am. Had the boat in 5- 10 ft throwing the fin up in the bushes. I bet the would have hit a husky jerk or a blade, but I just happened to be throwing the fin and wasnt putting it down. Very few short fish, but no biguns either. Dennis Boothe Joplin Mo. Stump bumper Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 I like those top water explosions also, but I am surprised to see that clown pattern, I am stuck on the smoky joe red fin.
rps Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 The wife and I were scorers at the Holiday Island cross country meet this morning. The lake I could see from the booth was incredibly tempting. Good on you for taking advantage of it.!
Buzz Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Sounds like fun. I would love to have been chunkin' spinnerbaits into the bushes this morning. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
Quillback Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Nice pics! Glad to see they are after the fin.
