Members drsnag Posted September 20, 2010 Members Posted September 20, 2010 I was just curious what the regulations were for archery season around stockton lake. Has anyone hunted the corp ground around the ruark bluff region/greeser creek/birch branch. I am going to be up there in October and thought if the fishing is a little slow I might stalk a doe. I would really appreciate any info anyone has.

You best information will be in the "2010 Fall Deer & Turkey" booklet that you can pick up anywhere you can buy the deer tags... but here is a link to the MDC page on regulations for Stockton Lake area..... http://mdc4.mdc.mo.g...xtDoveMap=found Happy Hunting & Get the NET !!!!!!!!!!!!! Thunderin Gobbler Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Looks like a YES to me. That's good to know. Think I may make it up there for some turkey hunting now.
denjac Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Most of the areas on the lake are opened to hunting, except the Birch branch area. Just kidding, thats where I hunt. Wayne SW/MO Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Its really not an MDC question but a COE question. I know that you can hunt Truman, except where it's prohibited. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
straw hat Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Wayne SW/MO, Cute picture. For some reason it really made my day.
