I was just curious what the regulations were for archery season around stockton lake. Has anyone hunted the corp ground around the ruark bluff region/greeser creek/birch branch. I am going to be up there in October and thought if the fishing is a little slow I might stalk a doe. I would really appreciate any info anyone has.

You best information will be in the "2010 Fall Deer & Turkey" booklet that you can pick up anywhere you can buy the deer tags... but here is a link to the MDC page on regulations for Stockton Lake area.....

Most of the areas on the lake are opened to hunting, except the Birch branch area. Just kidding, thats where I hunt.

Its really not an MDC question but a COE question. I know that you can hunt Truman, except where it's prohibited.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
