Getting The Yak Wet In The Little Niangua This Weekend

Well going down to initiate the new boat into what it was created for. Think I'll stop and see Mike at green mills campground, havent seen him in a few yrs.

Think I'll put in at fiery fork and go down to that low water ,slab bridge, havent fished their in a few yrs.

Go visit Mom in Wheatland also, she has the Pom. river in her back yard. My sis and her boyfriend want to go to the sprint car races Sat. night, I think I'd rather be sitting arround a campfire on the creek bank myself...

Your mom is lucky to have that river in her backyard. I would be exploiting that!

Fishing was good...The kayak did well.

The 3 biggest were 14''-15''

The sis and her boy friend, I am trying to get him interested in building one.

Woodman, Glad to see that you had a good time on the Lil' Niangua. It's one of my favorite streams. Fished it several times a yr. for about 5 yrs. Missed the last couple, though. We always go mid-week before Memorial Day. Always had the stream to ourselves. My have to try a fall float sometime.
