I had made arrangements to fish with a friend today. I left Holiday Island at 6:40 to pick him up at Eagle Rock at 7:00. Fog kept me near the bank and slow. It takes an hour that way. He was a good sport about me being 40 minutes late. On the way there two, TWO, idiots passed me on plane in the main channel. There was no way they could see and they had to be driving by GPS. They were going in opposite directions. I hope they scared the pee out of each other.

No top water bite for us this morning in the Roaring River arm - well no keepers anyway.

We fished for walleyes after the sun came out. We found large bluegill and short bass in the 26 to 34 foot range. One keeper walleye.

Because we were going slow several people chatted with us as we passed. Evidently the big tournament down lake was not the only one. We discovered the Eureka Springs bass club and one other were out. The people we talked to were catching shorts on drop shot and jigs in 25 foot plus water.

Water temp started at 76 and wound up at 79.

Hope the information helps.

GpS is nice in the thick fog, but for idle only! Some people just dont get it. You were smart hanging next to the bank and out of harms way, (maybe).

Some fail to realize that GPS is not radar. It don't tell ya where 'they' are....

Don't most tournaments delay their starts because of fog?

Same thing happened to a friend of mine on lake Norfork but he wasn't as lucky as you.A striper guide boat running WOT on GPS hit him broadside in the fog,he found himself upside down in the water under his Champion that was cut in half. His recovery and lawsuit is another story in itself.

BillP,

Yes, nearly all tournaments delay takeoff for fog. But on Table Rock, seems the area around Kim City bridge typically clears earlier than much of the rest of the lake, particularly in the river arms.
