Members Ozark Outdoorsman Posted October 6, 2010 Members Posted October 6, 2010 Hey ya'll this is my first time post to the site. I have been fishing Tablerock for about 6-7 years with limited success. I have done my best in the spring. Long story short me and a buddy are headed out this weekend for a full weekend of fishing and I am kind of wondering where to start. I am up for fishing anywhere from Indian Point to the James all the way to Baxter. I was wondering where the best place would as well as what baits.. topwater, worms.. etc. What depths the fish are at and what not to do so we dont waste our time. Thanks everyone!
Members Matt Henry Posted October 7, 2010 Members Posted October 7, 2010 Fish the main lake points with a football jig and PBJ tail. Fish are being caught in 15-25 ft. Also try swimming a single tail grup (silver) in 10-20 ft on the same points. Good luck! Matt Henry
Stump bumper Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 With the grub,, I like the double tail creepy crawler as a change up, and look for gravel. I would also add to always keep a top water on deck, redfin, shallow jerk bait, popper, really doesn't matter as long as it close at hand.
denjac Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Phil just posted what the bite is. Its on the post : The Word. Dennis Boothe Joplin Mo. For a nation to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle." ~ Winston Churchill ~
