Walleyedmike Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Fished Stockton October 9th and 10th. Used BB and spinners and then trolled cranks w/lead the 9th. Caught a mixed bag but not huge numbers 4 short walleye, two keeper crappie, several small whites and large mouth bass. On the 10th started with slow death, caught three walleye with one keeper. Swithched to lead core and caught one more, which had a bad case of scoliosis (sp)? Only fished three hours before we had to head home. Fished points and bluffs on the main lake south of the mile long bridge. Was a bueatiful weekend on the lake, you couldn't ask for better weather. WM
minnowhooker Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 Fished south of bridge myself today it was slower than last week but managed a few keepers pulling spinner rigs. Not many people out and boats were holding tight. Sail boats were moving around though.
Walleyedmike Posted October 15, 2010 Author Posted October 15, 2010 Thanks for the info Minnowhooker. I'll be back down this weekend to fish most of Saturday, and then run my boat down to Son Sac Marine before they close. Go Huskers! WM
straw hat Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 Are huskers and sooners a type of fish? Maybe a member of the carp family? ouch!! Sorry guys, I just couldn't resist. To me the only true sport is fishing. Everything else is a distant second. Good luck on you next fishing trips everyone and keep the reports coming. I really enjoy reading them.
