i was wondering if anyone uses the rick clunn baits, like the deep diver, wakebaits, and the short bill lures.

i think shallow bill is a heck of a bait....the small one works good in green on creeks or clear water. my favorite on grand is the 2" in american shad...kind of the rainbow color.

I use the wakebaits all the time. Very good substitute for other more common topwaters.

I use the RC wakebaits on Beaver in the spring, worked well for me, it is compact and heavy so it will cast further than a Redfin, but you can buy three Redfins for the price of one of these RC wakebaits.
