DChance
I was looking into it, but I noticed the tourneys are on Sundays. I am not a huge fan of Sunday Tournaments. Haven't heard anything bad though. Sounds like a good fun trail.

Alot of great fishing on both the scheduled lakes still to come.
Members LipRipper
Has any one on here fished this tourny? Any comments? Conman, I fish the Winter Bass Brawl and it's a decent tournament. It's kind of fallen off this year and is not as well organized as it was in the past, due to it changing hands, but still a decent tourney to fish if you want to get out and do some winter tourney fishing. You can usually expect 25-30 boats and some good competition, just plan on 1-1.5 hrs for weigh in. LipRipper

But look for things to turn around once the new tourney director gets things all lined out. And some anglers at weigh-in like to drag out things to the last minute thinking they are pro's or something. The director is always in 1 hr to 30mins before the wiegh-in setting up so some early birds can start weighing in. As I see it if you don't have that kicker fish by then it probably won't happen anyways. Should have done the homework and put in the time before hand. Good luck and enjoy. Members zzjonze
I have fished this series for the last 3 years, and always look forward to it. As for the late take off I attribute that to the lake being 5 to 6 ft under normal pool, in a narrow cove, narrow divided ramps and parking at Little Button. Not the director. He is working the bugs out and I am willing to go along for the rest of the season. The competition is really a good bunch of fishermen. My partner and I had 18 keepers Sunday, littlest being 15" and didn't draw a check. That ought to attest to the competition being of very high quality. So All in all I think the Winter bass Brawl is still a real good series. ZZ
