Idylwilde Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 I along with Mark Van Patten (Of the Tying Bench) are looking for interested fly anglers to Help organize a chapter of The FFF, (Federation Of Fly Fishers.) This chapter would represent the upper Current River, & surrounding waters. The upper Current River has some of the topmost fly fishing in the State with both put and take & Blue Ribbon trout fishing. Not only Trout fishing, the area has an abundance of warm water species to be taken with fly's. Please check the FFF out at this link and if interested in becoming a member & believe it would help the quality of fly fishing in this area let us know. This is not a spam for any shop or profit making organization, it is only to inquire into the possibilities to improve the sport of fly fishing on the Current River and surrounding waters. link to FFF. Thank you! Take a Child Fishing they are the future of the sport.

It is best to weigh them while they are in the water. The only really large one I ever caught got away with my leader when I first struck him. He weighed ten pounds. —Charles Dudley Warner
