jdmidwest Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Shoot them before they reach the coast! It's DUCK SEASON.......... "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
Justin Spencer Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Not in the south yet, have to watch ducks fly over every day, you're not getting them all. I'll do my share to keep them out of that oil. jdmidwest Posted November 10, 2010 Author Posted November 10, 2010 It was pretty slow this weekend, sunny and bright all weekend. Ice froze on the yak Sat. morning and picked duck Sun. after dark in short sleeves and 70 degrees. Not much to push them thru, but it is still early. Quillback Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I would appreciate it if ya'll would shoot some geeese, especially the ones that are hanging around here in NW Arkansas.
Justin Spencer Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Had more teal on the rivers this year than I can remember, had quite a few shovelers on some of the ponds around lately. Seeing good numbers of woodducks on the river. jdmidwest Posted November 11, 2010 Author Posted November 11, 2010 I need some teal and woodduck feathers. I will see what falls out of the sky. Goose does not open up here till Thanksgiving, then I will target them also. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
