Would You Live At Truman Lake?

I have a friend that fished it a couple of times this year on the Triton Tour. He said it was a nice lake with some nice bass. He wants us to spend a weekend or more up there this summer and fish it for fun. According to him, big lake, you spend alot of time and gas driving the boat to find the good spots. Lots of coves with good trees for cover. I take it that it is a fairly young lake, although I have not looked into it yet.

I'd live down there in a heartbeat. Truman's so much more fertile than LOZ below it. Don't get me wrong, LOZ's got some great fishing, but if I had to pick between the two, I'd pick Truman for the summer crappie.

I'm actually looking into the Pomme area for retirement. Would LOVE to be down around the Mt. Home, Eminence, Winona area though.

Pomme keeps us closer to the kiddos.

West Plains would be great if you want something in that area. Big enough town to do something or get something at for a reasonable price. Pretty good hub to go any direction, Mtn Home, Eminence, Current River, Spring River, North Fork, Eleven Pt., or Springfield for that matter.

Got a Game Plan just got one Bill paid off,put money that we was paying on that towards another Bill have it paid off in 3 months,take monies we was paying on them towards paying on another Bill having it paid off in another 3 months,plus Buy building Materials for Cabin.Have cabin finished mid Summer.Only Bill we will have left is Mortgage on this place which my Pension will more than Pay it plus Regular Monthly Bills like Electric and such.

Have Basically all Bills to where can handle them,Have Cabin where I could live there if I wanted but probably just stay there good amount of time.Plus be able to keep this place.And once my wife gets out of College gets a Good Job all the Better.
