Dave Cook Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 It was hard to get a little fishing in. 3 rainbows before lunch and 3 after. That seemed to be my limit. It was a nice day even though the guides kept icing up. Dave Cook Missouri Trout Fishermen's Association - Kansas City

Gatorjet Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Glad to meet all of you. Had a great time, and happy the Jambalaya was enjoyed. Bob, Gatorjet Real men go propless!
Gary Lange Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Everything was good and I sampled some of each. I brought the wife some Jalapenos home and at first she said oh I will have them with dinner. Next thing I know she tells her Mom that it was snack time and was eating a Pepper. I knew she couldn't wait until dinner time. Those were good Don and she sure had a big smile while she ate them. It was good to see everyone and to talk to all those that came. Respect your Environment and others right to use it!
Gallagher Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Looks like a great time was had by all! Nice pics too. Don, is that you in the hooded camo getup diggin' in th' pot? You all look like you're cold or something, I just got back from where it was -44 w/ wind chill -70 . I had a chance to do some flying at our clubs' annual Polar Bear Fly on NYD or I'da made it down. Thanks for posting the pics & Happy New Year to all & to all a great year of fishing! Carry out what you carry in...
hfdhoosier Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 It was great to meet all of you. All the food was great! The conversation was the best. Could have been warmer but Phils tarps made it barable. Nice to talk to Phil and Don again. Nice to meet Gary, Leonard, Gator, JDC, Terry, and Dave. Hope I didn't forget anyone. Fished on and off through the week and caught a bunch of bows. Brown and grey scuds were the tickets in size 14. Had to fish the outlets on some days because they were running water but got some low water fishing on Thursday and Friday. We drove back Friday and got caught in a snow storm around Eureka, luckily the storm was spotty and we got clear roads into St Louis and on to Highland Illinois. We had a great vacation, already planning to attend the get together next year. Happy New Year everyone. Dennis Eat, Fish, Sleep,....Repeat Member: ozarkflyfishers http://www.ozarkflyfishers.org/
Terry Beeson Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Had a great time... Thanks Dave for the gift... GREAT Chili... GREAT Jambalaya, even if no gator or owl or possum in it... (Next time Gatorjet... Next time...) Great meatballs as usual Gary... And of course, those jalapenos... Don does a good job on those. Thanks to Phil for the coffee and tarps to keep the wind down... It was good to see everyone - even Don - and meet some newbies. Next year, I say we put up a sign inviting everyone to eat... Too much food not to share. I'm ordering warmer weather for next year as well... dang wind and cold...
