Gavin Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Finally got started last weekend..Popper heads have been shaped, glued to the hooks, and eyeballed...still need to dress the tails and leg them...Should have em done just in time. Cheers.
Outside Bend Posted January 20, 2011 Author Posted January 20, 2011 Leonard, I PM'ed you the addy. With the 8-10 inches of snow we got here, I ought to have mine done in the next few days <{{{><
Zach Bearden Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Well, I said I would have mine out by now... But you see, Oklahoma gets a couple of inches of snow and we shut down schools So, they sit in an envelope waiting for roads to clear to hit the Post Office. "Its clearly Bree time baby!" Outside Bend Posted January 26, 2011 Author Posted January 26, 2011 Sorry Kevin, I've already received flies from a number of folks, and the deadline's only five or so days away, so we won't be taking any additional participants this late in the game. I wouldn't be opposed to doing another in a few months though, and you're more than welcome in the next. Thanks for your interest, though! <{{{><
DaddyO Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 Flies are going in the mail today. Nothing like pushing it to the wire. DaddyO We all make decisions; but, in the end, our decisions make us.
Outside Bend Posted January 28, 2011 Author Posted January 28, 2011 Leonard's bugs came in today, and they look VERY fishy. Might have to make a trip to the Current tomorrow and test 'em out <{{{><
Outside Bend Posted January 31, 2011 Author Posted January 31, 2011 Just received DaddyO's bugs, couple more packages and I'll be ready to send everything out <{{{><
Trout Commander Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Sorry for being the hold up guys. I intended to tie the last few yesterday evening but spent it tending to a projectile vomiting four year old instead. If you guys don't mind the delay I can have them at the post office before the mail man tomorrow. OB - Can you pm me your address and what all a newb should include (besides some goodies for the host)? I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted.
