I was actually fishing out of Indian Point that night but decided to leave around 10:30 after the rain and lightening started. Glad everyone down there was OK.

From the National Weather Service...they think there were 3 tornadoes (maybe 4) around Table Rock that night/morning

Lucky you !! Where the fish hitting when you had to leave ? Hate when that happens... Being new to a lake this size reminds me to keep an eye on the weather. I am not beyond beaching the boat on a gravel flat & making a run for it !

Kind of slower than I expected but it was so nice out there before the storms came in especially for late Dec. I fished from 6pm until 10:30ish and caught 6 on a single spin (4 SM 2 LM) with 1 good one around 4lbs and the others were keeperish size. Had the boat in around 15' and caught the ones I did just inside points around docks with brush.

I live 5 miles east of Cincinnati.

This was the first time that I wasn't worried about a tornado warning.

I was trying to leave out for a day of fishing at 5am.

The lights went out at 5:55 and the erie quiet came over, then I noticed a funnel cloud overhead.

Not cool, the clouds had that ominous greenish blue tint associated with heavy rain.

I had no idea that an F-3 was churning up that little town just to our west.

God bless those people....
