It was a beautiful day on the lake. Perfectly calm and quiet. Never saw a boat all day. I bank fished a bluff near CC. The water temp was 38 when I got there and 40 when I left. Only had 5 bites and caught two small bass (about 10' deep). There were a lot of ducks flying this morning and I also saw about 40 turkey. When I drove past the CC launch on the way home I noticed that the state had covered the road and launch with gravel. I wonder why they covered up a perfectly good paved road with gravel? I quess there is no telling why the government does anything.

You may be right Zaraspook. The layer was about 2" thick and had been packed with a roller. That sure would do the job.
