straw hat Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 It was a beautiful day on the lake. Perfectly calm and quiet. Never saw a boat all day. I bank fished a bluff near CC. The water temp was 38 when I got there and 40 when I left. Only had 5 bites and caught two small bass (about 10' deep). There were a lot of ducks flying this morning and I also saw about 40 turkey. When I drove past the CC launch on the way home I noticed that the state had covered the road and launch with gravel. I wonder why they covered up a perfectly good paved road with gravel? I quess there is no telling why the government does anything.

straw hat Posted January 5, 2011 Author Posted January 5, 2011 You may be right Zaraspook. The layer was about 2" thick and had been packed with a roller. That sure would do the job.
Members clf989s Posted January 5, 2011 Members Posted January 5, 2011 It was the same way at Masters and Hartley.....
Members MissedAnother Posted January 5, 2011 Members Posted January 5, 2011 Cedar Ridge has been like that since about November, if I remember correctly.
