Hey Martin, They are offically "our" walleye at this stage. I'll leave them alone when they go > 20 foot deep.

The spoons look great. I'm not at all sure pretty paint jobs matter on a jigging spoon, but I am a sucker for a pretty paint job.

I attend to tie up a BUNCH of Zebra midges. I use a lot of Zebra midges and I haven't been satisfied with the hooks in some of the commercial ones. I'm going to do a couple of sizes and a handful of colors and be DONE for a couple of years.

There's also planting brush. I've called, but I haven't gotten to speak to anyone about a permit YET.

I never dream of Table Rock, but I can't stop thinking about BSL in the springtime. Oh, the smallies I will catch. The walleye. The crappie. It's gonna be great. (actually is was still great last week, but it's getting too cold for me to enjoy being out).

Ah, Ham I see your into trout fishing too. You can't beat that zebra midge, it will catch em!. Let me know as soon as your here something about the brush. I will donate some time to help.

Darren.

Good Morning: I am considering learning to air brush jigs and spoons with powder paint...what brand and model of air brush do you use. I looked at one at TJ's tackle but would like to hear from one who uses an airbrush to see how easily and effectively they operate. Thanks.....miket

Miket,

I am using an Iwata Elipse 3.5mm airbrush. It's not a cheap one but I did not want to buy into it a second time so went with quality first. I did a lot of research and it was highly favored over and over again. True to be said, it is treating me very nice! It will paint pencil line to as thick as you wanna go. I bought the whole kit through an art supply store on Ebay. Airbrush, compressor, hose, paints and accessories for $270. I've already made that back in the baits I've restored. Here's a pic of my first custom phantom crawdad that earned me a 5lb+ largemouth on Bull Shoals this fall. Good Luck
